Built about 1855, this is a one-story wood-frame galleried planter's cottage. The front steps are inset so that they are beneath the gallery. This building was listed on the National Register on 22 May 1980 as a component of a thematic group nomination of antebellum houses in Clarke County. The nomination was prepared by Jody Cook, who was at that time an MDAH architectural historian. |
