| A very intact complex consisting of a galleried cottage (numbered as 001-NAT-5206.1) and six outbuildings, on a 60-acre tract that is a remnant of a larger landholding that consisted of several hundred acres. The outbuildings are: (.2) a frame schoolhouse (moved to become a kitchen), (.3) stuccoed brick cistern house, (.4) stuccoed brick kitchen, (.5) carriage house, (.6) Dr. Boyd’s medical office, and (.7) double-pen frame dwelling, possibly a slave house. This plantation complex was listed on the National Register on 30 March 1979, with 60 acres of land.
