Context/Comments
Hillside is one of Mississippi's unique residential essays in the vernacular Greek Revival style with some features similar to other Mississippi plantation dwellings but with certain architectural characteristics that distinguish it from its counterparts. It is one of nine extant pre-Civil War houses in the historic Kingston community. It is the only Adams County plantation residence embraced by galleries on its three frontal elevations and its floor plan is unique for the Natchez region.

This house was listed on the National Register on 15 September 1987, with 12 acres of land.
