Built about 1898, the R.D. Edwards House was, at the time it was documented in 1991, the best example remaining in Iuka of a Queen Anne cottage. It was destroyed by a fire on 30 December 2001. The house was listed on the National Register on 9 August 1991, as a component of the "Historic Resources of Iuka, Mississippi" (also called the Iuka Multiple Resource Area), a multi-property submission prepared by Joan Embree. After it burned in December 2001 it was delisted from the National Register on 7 August 2002. |
