This two-story brick building was built about 1920 as the boy's dormitory building for the Clay County Agricultural High School. It is a rare surviving building in the northeastern part of the state associated with Mississippi's agricultural high school program, which provided vocational training in a boarding-school setting. This dormitory building and the adjacent two-story classroom building were together listed on the National Register in 1991, and were designated as Mississippi Landmark properties in 1994. |
