Context/Comments
This house is a largely Neoclassical-styled two-story stone building fronted by an elegant Corinthian tetrastyle portico, but rendered asymmetrical by the presence of a three-story battlemented round corner tower. (The overall composition is reminiscent of Walter Place in Holly Springs.)

It is included as element #210 in the Midtown Corinth Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 23 December 1993. It was designated a Mississippi Landmark, at the request of the owner, on 10 October 2002.

This building is included in “Buildings of Mississippi” (2020) (pp.164-165, NE11).
