Scott, Tom B., & Co. (1926-)
Builder/Contractor, Jackson, MS
Offices at 304 Capital National Bank Building (corner E. Capitol and N. West St.) in 1927/28. The Scott brothers (Frank, Tom, Charles C., and Dr. W.W.) apparently had connections to Jackson through Millsaps College, but in 1924, Tom Scott moved to Jackson from California to manage the Jackson Development Company. The real estate firm had major investments on Clinton Boulevard, especially in Country Club Estates subdivision, and built many of their homes as spec houses. Tom Scott formed his construction company in 1926. The Scott brothers developed Woodland Hills and at least two of them had early houses there.
