This was a Stick-Style structure built out over the water of Mississippi Sound, on the waterfront of downtown Biloxi, between Lameuse and Main Streets. Probably built in the 1880s or 90s, it was destroyed by a hurricane in 1915. (It replaced by another building in 1916.) It was similar to a surviving building, the Riverton Yacht Club in Riverton, New Jersey, built in 1880. |
