Designed by architect Frank Pierce Milburn, this railroad depot was built in 1910.

It was listed in 2002 as element #28 in Hattiesburg Hub City Boundary Increase I, and it was later included as element #64 in the enlarged Hub City Historic District (Boundary Increase II), which was placed on the National Register on 9 November 2012.

It is included in "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p. 317, PW30).
