Designed by architect R.H. Hunt of Chattanooga, this dignified Neoclassical Revival church building was erected in 1926. It is included as a contributing element (element #41) in the Hazlehurst Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 5 November 1998. This building is included in "Historic Churches of Mississippi" (2007) (p.59) and "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p.288, in the listing for the Copiah County Courthouse, SC3). |
