Context/Comments
This two-story brick building was built in 1912 as the classroom building for the Clay County Agricultural High School. It is a rare surviving building in the northeastern part of the state associated with Mississippi's agricultural high school program, which provided vocational training in a boarding-school setting.

This classroom building and the adjacent two-story dormitory building were together listed on the National Register in 1991, and were designated as Mississippi Landmark properties in 1994.
