A double-pile wood-frame vernacular Greek Revival cottage with a three-bay facade and a tetrastyle portico.

This building was listed on the National Register on 22 May 1980 as a component of a thematic group nomination of antebellum houses in Clarke County. The nomination was prepared by Jody Cook, who was at that time an MDAH architectural historian.
