One of the oldest buildings at the University of Mississippi, the YMCA Building was built in 1853. It was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 1986. It is a component of the Lyceum - The Circle Historic District, which was designated a National Historic Landmark on 6 October 2008. This building is included in "The State of Mississippi – Historic Properties" (1982) (p. 14) and "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p.155, in the listing for University Circle, NC25.1). |
