| This is a well preserved and rather ornate two-story wood-frame house with Eastlake detailing, but at the time of its documentation in March 2001 it was clad in vinyl siding. Thomas Spight (1841-1924) served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1898 to 1911. He was also the founder of the Southern Sentinel newspaper. He died in 1924 at the age of 82. |
