Designed by architect N.W. Overstreet and built in 1922, the (old) Batesville High School, later Batesville Elementary School, is a two-story brick school building with eclectic Classical and Craftsman Style features. It was designated as a Mississippi Landmark in 2001 and is listed as a contributing element (element #79A) in the Batesville Historic District, which was placed on the National Register in 2003. |
