Located at the historic intersection of two antebellum railroad lines, this is a one-story, wood-frame depot building with stucco veneer and brick wainscot, designed with Craftsman Style influence. Built about 1917, it has a V-shaped plan, with an exterior side facing each of the two railroad lines. The site was dedicated for depot use in 1857. The building is mentioned in “Buildings of Mississippi” (2020) (p.163). |
