Context/Comments
The Curlee Block is a two-story Italianate commercial building with a nine-bay facade, constructed about 1878. It has historically consisted of three separate commercial spaces, now numbered as 405, 407, and 409 Cruise Street. These three spaces were listed on the National Register as three separate components of the Downtown Corinth Historic District (district elements #3, #4, and #5). The three properties were approved for Mississippi Landmark designation, at the request of the owners, on 13 January 1999. [HABS: part of MS-235 (1975)] (R.C., 2021)
