This one-and-one-half-story wood-frame house was originally built about 1840. It was remodeled by architect Theodore C. Link. It is listed as a pivotal (contributing) element (element #38) in the Southwest Holly Springs Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 20 April 1983 (as a component of the "Historic Resources of Holly Springs"). It is included in "Old Homes of Mississippi, Volume II: Columbus and the North" (1977) (p. 83) and "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p.145, in the listing for the Southwest Residential District, NC9). |
