According to the 1923 City Directory, the house was owned and occupied by T.W. Beverely (white), who was operating a grocery on the property. The 1925 Sanborn map confirms the presence of separate store west of the house. The store was demolished by the completion of the 1931 Sanborn Map. The 1935 directory confirms that T.W. Beverely continued to own and occupy the house. |
