Brief Description
This one-story, front-gabled bungalow is rectangular in form and clad in weatherboard siding. The house rests on a continuous brick foundation. The roof is low-pitched with exposed rafter ends and is covered in asphalt shingles. Windows are 4(vertical)-over-1, double-hung wood sash. The front façade (east) is three bays (2W, D, 2W) with a single-leaf entry door concealed by a metal-framed screen door. A wood-louvered vent and gable end brackets are in the front gable end. A full-width entry porch with
hipped roof extends from the façade. It features exposed rafter ends, faux vine metal posts on brick piers with decorative brackets, and concrete flooring. A shed-roofed addition is along the rear.
Historic Information
According to the 1929 directory, the house was owned and occupied by Jesse Collier, a white salesman for the Nehi Bottling Company. He resided in the house with wife, Annie and five children.
