The fountain consists of a round pool 55-feet in diameter, with a raised central portion 13 feet in diameter. There is a jet in the central structure, and five jets in the surrounding pool. The streams of water are illuminated by lights that surround the jets. The pool is constructed of concrete, stucco, and decorative rocks with a brick ledge. |
|
Built for Walter White, the owner of the White House Hotel, which is located just to the north at 1230 Beach Boulevard. This was the first fountain of its type in the southeast. It featured colored lights and variable jets which could be controlled for distinctive displays. |
