Hunt, the City Hall was built in 1903. It is a contributing element (element #46) in the Columbus Central Commercial Historic District, which was placed on the National Register in 1980. It was designated as a Mississippi Landmark in 1984. This building is included in "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p.182, PR17).
