Brief Description
Large, two-story, masonry, Neoclassical Style church, facing west. Scored stucco chain wall foundation with vents. Side gable roof with closed eaves is finished in asphalt shingles. Building clad in red, brick laid in Flemish bond, with cast stone details. A two-story, projecting front portico is supported by four cast stone Ionic columns. A broad concrete staircase with scored stucco wing spans the front facade. Portico sheltered three centered window each consisting of a three, windows on each floor. Windows are leaded single light wood window. To both sides of the portico is a single window with hood mold on the first floor and three ganged window consisting of three stacked astral lights. Behind the building, facing East Fulton Street, is a three story, flat roof masonry addition. A one-story ante chamber, leads to the three story educational building. Comb face red brick laid in running bond. A centered entrance with a two-story cast stone cross imbedded in the wall above. Windows are wood six-over-six.
