A two- story, double-pile, side-gabled brick Greek Revival house with a broad three-bay facade. It now has a monumental distyle portico of unfluted round Doric columns, but this is a replacement (the original portico having been replaced by an Eastlake porch in the late 19th century). It was listed individually on the National Register on 14 March 1985.
This house is included in an article in "Colonial Homes" magazine (April 1988) and in "Reflections: Homes and History of Columbus, Mississippi" (2001) (pp.40-43). |
