Context/Comments

The Elson-Dudley House one of Meridian’s most prominent Queen Anne Style houses.

It was listed on the National Register on 18 December 1979 as one of several historic properties comprising the "Historic Resources of Meridian." It was later included as element #135 in the Merrehope Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 19 September 1988.

It is included in "The Majesty of Eastern Mississippi and the Coast" (2004) (pp. 35-36, with interior photographs) and "Victorian Houses of Mississippi" (2005) (pp. 110-111).
