Context/Comments
The Pigford Building was built about 1915 for Mt. Barton Lodge No. 13, Knights of Pythias. A grocery store (Meridian Jitney Jungle No. 1) was located on the ground floor for many years.

This building was individually listed on the National Register on 18 December 1979 as a component of the “Historic Resources of Meridian” (Meridian MRA).
