Context/Comments
The Alex Loeb store was organized in 1887 and was originally located on 25th Avenue. From 1898 to 1926 it was in the Rosenbaum Building. The store moved into this building upon its completion in 1926.

This building was individually listed on the National Register on 18 December 1979 as a component of the “Historic Resources of Meridian” (Meridian MRA). It was later included as a previously-listed element (element #79) in the Downtown Meridian Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 16 January 2007.
