A stone statue of a soldier standing "at rest" atop a tempietto of eight paired Tuscan columns on pedestals, enclosing within the tempietto a statue of a woman kneeling in grief, all on a stepped base. It is mentioned in "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p. 307, in the listing for the Jones County Courthouse, PW11). |
