This narrow, wood-deck suspension bridge, built in 1919, was a rare surviving example of a type of vehicular bridge built on some rural roads in Mississippi in the early twentieth century. It was listed on the National Register in 1979 as a component of the "Swinging Suspension Bridges in Mississippi" Multiple Property Submission. It was destroyed sometime around 1990. (R.C., 2021) |
