Context/Comments
An outstanding example of Colonial Revival residential architecture, complete with original furnishings on the main level. It is also noteworthy as the former home of Roane Fleming Byrnes (1890-1970), who is noted for her role in the creation of the Natchez Trace Parkway.

This house was individually listed on the National Register on 5 July 1979, and it was later included as element #114 in the Downriver Residential Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 25 March 1999.

It is included in "The Majesty of Natchez" (1969/1981/1986) (p. 47).
