Context/Comments

Originally built about 1830 as an open-passage dogtrot house, this building was enlarged in the 1850s, and the open passages were enclosed about 1870. In its resulting form, it it a long, asymmetrical galleried cottage.

It was individually listed on the National Register on 15 Jul 1986, as a component of the "Raymond and Vicinity Multiple Resource Area" (Raymond MRA).
