Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1948 and constructed during the years 1950 and 1954. One of the most complete residences embodying Wright's concepts of the "Usonian House," especially the relationship of the house to the street, entrance positioning, preservation of privacy, integration of interior with exterior, and use of indigenous materials. It was listed on the National Register on 28 November 1980. This house is included in "Jackson Landmarks" (1982) (pp. 140-141) and "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (pp. 262-263, JM51). |
