| This exuberant two-story wood-frame Queen Anne Style house was erected about 1893-94 as the residence of Alonzo James Lewis (Sr.) (1843-1918), a locally prominent landowner and businessman. The house was listed on the National Register on 4 August 1983, from a nomination prepared by the owner. It is included in "Victorian Houses of Mississippi" (2005) (p. 67). |
