A two-story, hip-roofed “Bracketed Greek Revival” house of brick construction, that has a double-tiered tetrastyle portico extending across three bays of its five-bay façade. The upper tier of the portico has an iron balustrade. This building is listed as element #309 in the Upriver Residential Historic District, which was placed on the National Register on 1 December 1983. It is included in "Old Homes of Mississippi, Volume I: Natchez and the South" (1977) (p. 53) and "Louisiana Architecture 1840-1860" (2006) (p. 399). |
