Built in 1966 as the Gulfport-Harrison County Library, this building is of statewide significance as a notable example of the "New Formalist" architecture of the mid-twentieth century. This building was individually listed on the National Register on 22 September 2020. It was designated a Mississippi Landmark on 17 October 2008. |
