The Uptown Vicksburg Historic District (Amendment and Boundary Increase No. 2) extends the eastern boundary of the existing Uptown Vicksburg District slightly to encompass three resources (#1, #44, #45). The addition is added to the northeast corner of Crawford and Adams Streets. In addition to this boundary increase, the amendment extends the Period of Significance for the Uptown Vicksburg and Uptown Vicksburg Boundary Increase No. 1 to 1968, the year that federally funded urban renewal began in Vicksburg.
