A sculptural group consisting of a stone statue of a soldier standing "at rest" atop a tall sculptured obelisk-like shaft on pedestal, which is flanked by two other figures (a sailor and a woman in classical garb), all on a stepped base; virtually identical, except for the reversal of the two lower figures, to the monument in Heidelberg.
