| A stone statue of a soldier standing "at rest" atop a tall sculptured obelisk-like shaft on a pedestal, on a stepped base. This monument is a component of the property associated with the Washington County Courthouse, which was designated a Mississippi Landmark on 25 January 1989, and which was listed on the National Register on 10 September 2014. It was documented during the "Save Outdoor Sculpture" survey in 1993, as SOS-WAS-002. |
