Listed as carpenter in 1850 census (#25) in Columbus, Lowndes Co. Native of Vermont, 36 years old. Constructed Camellia Place for himself and family. According to the May 13, 1909, Columbus Weekly Dispatch, he designed and built the first Lindamood House (burned May 1909) beginning in 1862. 1860 census lists his birthplace as New York.
