Context/Comments
Built in 1926-27, this two-story brick academic building is a component of the University of Southern Mississippi Historic District. In 1964, the university's physical plant department completed a major renovation of this building, including the replacement of all wood floors with concrete, installation of aluminum windows, dropped ceilings, and replacement of all doors, frames, trim and hardware. The building was also air conditioned and rewired.
