An elegant one-story Greek Revival house with a Doric distyle portico and encircling entablature, and an Ionic distyle-in-antis door surround. The house is notable for its exceptionally intact interior and for the fact that it has remained continuously in the same family since 1849. Included in The Great Houses of Natchez (pp. 46-48), Natchez Walking Guide (#71), Classic Natchez, and Historic Architecture in Mississippi (pp. 27-28). [HABS: MS-8 (1936)]
