Linden, located on the site of the first permanent residence in Washington County, is one of the finest Colonial Revival houses in Washington County. The house reflects the prominence of the original owner, P.L. Mann, a wealthy planter and political figure. It was listed on the National Register on 12 November 1982, from a nomination prepared by Clinton I. Bagley. It is included in "Buildings of Mississippi" (2020) (p. 101, DR5). |
