Context/Comments
Built in 1903, this bridge consisted of one steel arch deck span. Although this type of bridge was relatively common throughout the United States during the early 20th century, this particular bridge was the only known example extant in Mississippi before it was demolished by the National Park Service in 2002.

It was listed on the National Register on 5 September 1990, as a component of the "Historic Bridges of Mississippi," from a nomination prepared by Jack D. Elliott, Jr., historical archaeologist of MDAH. After its demolition, the bridge was delisted from the National Register on 17 December 2002.
