Mount Olive, a vernacular Greek Revival structure, is architecturally significant because it documents the taste and lifestyle of an American 1840 farmhouse. No major changes have ever been made to the house. The entire structure, except for the addition of modern conveniences during its restoration in 1979-80, remains exactly as it was conceived. This house was listed on the National Register on 28 November 1980, with 6.29 acres of land. |
