S. D. Lee High School is a Modernist public school complex designed by architect R. W. Naef of Jackson. The main building was built in 1953 and enlarged in 1967 and 1977. The adjacent gymsasium was built in 1958-59. The school complex was listed on the National Register on 25 March 2019 from a nomination prepared by Michael W. Fazio. It was designated as a Mississippi Landmark on 22 May 2018. |
