Context/Comments
A double-galleried Greek Revival I-house with a symmetrical seven-bay façade and eight Tuscan colonnettes on each level. The I-house portion was added to an older cottage built before 1824. It was the home of Dr. John Carmichael Jenkins, noted pioneer horticulturalist in the Natchez region prior to the Civil War.

This house was listed on the National Register on 19 January 1979, with 15.29 acres of land.
