A two-story, hip-roofed, wood-frame vernacular Greek Revival house that has a three-bay façade with wide windows like on the William E. Ervin House. It has a full-with colonnade containing four square box columns. There is a small cantilevered balcony at the center of the façade. It is listed as a contributing element (element #89) in the Columbus Central Commercial Historic District, which was placed on the National Register in 1980. This house is included in "Old Homes of Mississippi, Volume II: Columbus and the North" (1977) (p. 33). |
