| This monument consists of a stone statue of a Confederate soldier standing at attention atop a classical tempietto of four Tuscan columns. It is located on the grounds of the Jones County Courthouse at Ellisville, which was designated a Mississippi Landmark on 25 February 1987 and was listed on the the National Register on 10 November 1994. The monument was recorded in the "Save Outdoor Sculpture" survey as SOS-JON-001. |
