A 2.5-story, wood-frame, Colonial Revival house built on 1905. Included in "The Buildings of Biloxi" (1976, p. 141; and 2000, p. 138). |

2.5-story, wood-frame, 2-bay (WW-D) hipped-roof Colonial Revival house with 2 hipped-dormers. Side-gable ell with cutaway bay on the east. The double-galleried, full-width porch has square columns and balustrades. Bay #2 is a wood door, with sidelights and transom, all with elliptical lights on the first story; and wood 15-light door, 1 light sidelights, and multi-light transom with diamond motif on the second story. Windows are 1/1 wood DHS with working shutters. House has brick pier foundation, clapboard siding, and asphalt shingle roof. Decorative details include a roof balustrade and finials at the dormers and roof ridges. A shed-roof addition was built on the rear (north) post-1952. |

The house was designed by W.T. Harkness and built in 1905 for O.G. Swetman whose long-term employment with the People's Bank of Biloxi led to his promotion to President of the Bank. The property currently remains in the ownership of the Swetman family. |
